Welcome to Eastern Multi-Academy Trust. We are a vibrant Trust with both primary and secondary phase academies across the East of England.
Welcome
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Eastern Multi Academy Trust website. Here you will find information on our academies as well as key trust documents that we hope you will find useful, through the links above.
I am proud of every one of our children and colleagues for their hard work and commitment to Transforming Lives, Transforming Communities. We believe that schools should be at the heart of the communities that they serve and play their part in ensuring that all children receive a great education to allow them to take their place in the world of work or further study.
Formed in 2017, we exist for the benefit of the children and the communities that we serve across West Norfolk, Breckland (Norfolk) and Brandon (Suffolk). We currently support 12 schools ranging from Infant academies through to our Secondary academy in King’s Lynn, and have a track record in supporting schools to achieve success for their children.
Our academies promote effective learning through inspirational teaching to improve academic standards. We are proud that all of our academies have reaped the benefit of being part of our Trust and have demonstrated significant improvement as can be seen below.

We seek to offer mutual support to one another to develop shared learning and understanding. We work collaboratively to achieve better outcomes, recognise unique qualities and differences, be positive and aspirational, focus on the successes of individuals and develop a culture of healthy competition.
Our people are our greatest resource and we work hard to invest them as individuals and ensure that our school environments are amazing to work in. We have a strategic investment programme to ensure all schools are vibrant, safe and warm for our children and our colleagues, with over £1m being invested in our estate in the last two years alone.
The Trust Mission is based on the four keywords: Empower, Motivate, Achieve, and Transform. We aim to make a real and lasting difference in our communities – “transforming lives, transforming communities” and we hope that you gain a good sense of this through the information shared on our website and that of our academies. However, if you would like further information or are interested in working with us, please do not hesitate to contact us using the Contact Us page. We look forward to hearing from you.

Our History
Eastern Multi-Academy Trust is a regional multi-academy trust with 12 primary and secondary phase academies across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Originally founded as CWA Academy Trust, the Trust grew and expanded, and it was decided that the time was right for the Trust to become independent. Eastern Multi-Academy Trust was formed in May 2017 with 8 schools in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.
In August 2017, the Trust expanded into Thetford and Suffolk with the addition of Admirals Academy, Norwich Road Academy and Glade Academy. This was followed by Raleigh Infant Academy in June 2018 and more recently Howard Junior School in December 2023.
Being part of our Trust helps us fulfil our aim of establishing a vibrant education system that enthuses young people and supports the economic development of the region, raising standards throughout and aiding transition.
Eastern Multi-Academy Trust seeks to offer mutual support from one academy to another, develop shared learning and understanding, collaborate to achieve better outcomes, recognise unique qualities and differences, be positive and aspirational, focus on the success of individuals and develop a culture of healthy competition.
We are also keen to work with and collaborate with schools outside our Trust and, if this is of interest, please feel free contact to get in contact for an informal discussion as to how we could work together at office@eastern-mat.co.uk.
